In Purpose: Our research into pollutant emissions and technologies to improve sustainability and reduce particulate emissions in manufacturing. We have measures including disposal of hazardous materials, environmental emergency response, noise detection, wastewater quality assessment, water recycling, air quality monitoring, hazardous materials labeling and transportation management. Gear designs are being continuously improved to minimize waste in all respects and throughout the supply Chain.

Nylacast Automotive is one of two main business units of the Nylacast Group (Nylacast Engineered Products and Nylacast Automotive) who are a leading global manufacturer with nearly 60 years of experience in the production and supply of safety-critical,high-performance polymer products.

Nylacast Automotive is a global leading designer and volume producer of high- precision, safety-critical polymer-metal components used in Automotive Electric Power Steering systems (EPS), Electric Braking Systems (EBS), Actuators and Transmissions Components. Employing passionate and diverse teams around the world, we are committed to meeting the needs of the highly dynamic and technically challenging Automotive marketplace. Operating from strategically located sites around the globe, Nylacast Automotive manufactures and supplies these safety-critical products that go into hundreds of vehicle platforms across multiple vehicle brands world-wide.

Nylacast's polymers have been specially formulated for EPS systems to exhibit excellent physical properties including high wear resistance, dimensional stability, and excellent NVH performance through its unique Nylacast Casting Process , as the final polymer chemistry displays ultra-high molecular weight and, therefore, very high durability. Nylacast utilizes innovative assembly technologies to combine metal (e.g., special steel grades, light-alloys) and polymers, leveraging the strengths of both, namely the robustness of the metallic hub and the wear resistance and "quietness" of the polymer ring, to accommodate varying loads, temperatures and environmental conditions. The dimensions of Nylacast EPS worm wheels can be customized to meet the needs of different steering architectures ( C-EPS, SP-EPS, DP-EPS, SbW ), optimizing the design within the constraints of the packaging space and operating condition requirements.

Nylacast Automotive collaborates with our Customers in Electric Power Steering, Electric Braking Systems, Actuators and Transmissions applications as well as Durability Test Rig (DTR) services. Our unique Research and Development capability provides full engineering solutions from initial concepts and raw chemistry, through to final assemblies and components. This comprises materials development, application engineering, product testing and validation that creates real value for our Customers. Nylacast Automotive is a Full Service Supplier (FSS) , offering end-to-end solutions that include not just the manufacturing of high-precision polymer components but also their design, engineering , and testing. This comprehensive approach ensures that our clients receive a complete package, tailored to meet the exacting standards and specific needs of the Automotive Industry.
