Shift Maintenance Technician
JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Location: Changshu, China

1. Strictly follow company’s safety and quality policy.

2.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance measures.

3. Understand and use maintenance records to establish and improve the standardization of equipment maintenance.

4. Maintenance of CNC equipment mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic.

5. Resolve minor machine stop issues and work closely with maintenance to improve downtime.

6. Machine breakdown Maintenance documentation

7Maintenance spare parts Control and application

8. To act professionally in accordance with company policies and procedures as laid down in the Employees Handbook at all times.

9. Develop and maintain effective communication links with fellow colleagues. 

10. Undertake additional training and other relevant duties as required.

11. Accept the shift rotation tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- Technical school or above; CNC & Mechanical related major is preferred

- 3 years of relevant experience in CNC equipment maintenance and repair

- Be familiar with CNC machining process and FANUC Programme

- Good Machining and maintenance skills is preferred 

- Be familiar with metrology and drawings 

R&D Test Engineer
JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Location: Changshu, China

1. Perform laboratory tests in order to produce reliable and precise data to support scientific investigations in order to achieve business goals.

2. Carry out routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies to carry out analyses by following standards as specified.

3. Prepare specimens and samples.

4. Planning, organising and conducting multiple experiments/ trials.

5. Recording and analysing data.

6. Conducting fieldwork, eg ordering, and collecting samples via liaising with operators.

7. Undertaking and analysing information from controlled laboratory-based investigations as well as presenting results to R&D and other managers. 

8. Writing-up reports, reviews and summaries. 

9. Construct, maintain and operate standard laboratory equipment. 

10. Keep equipment in a clean and serviceable condition and ensure the safe removal of waste. 

11. Keep abreast with equipment calibrations and other lab-based tasks. 

12. Record, and sometimes interpret, results to present to R&D manager and other senior colleagues. 

13. Use computers and perform mathematical calculations for the preparation of graphs. 

14. Ensure the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced and that everything is clearly and correctly labelled. 

15. Keep up to date with technical developments, especially those which can save time and improve reliability. 

16. Follow and ensure strict safety procedures and safety checks. 

17. Demonstrating all related procedures such as manual instructions, SOPs, SWIs, Risk Assessments, PPEs, COSHH, etc. 

18. Provide training to apprentices as well as junior staff including technicians ie; colleagues at Viva for quality and development purposes. 

19. Being able to develop original solutions to problems. 

20. Familiarising himself with a wide range of necessary analysing equipment. 

21. Good understanding of project management being able to write technical reports. 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- Qualified to a degree level or higher in Polymer chemistry or a closely related subjects.

- Working experience in polymer processing and/or characterisation and good laboratory skills.

- Computer literate - good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Access, PowerPoint, Excel and Word processing).

- Excellent communication at all levels – written and oral.

Junior application engineer
JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Location: Changshu, China

1.    Taking detailed briefs from the client to understand their requirements whilst providing technical support for new product launch programmes from concept through the customer sign off / PPAP approval and design changes thereafter.

2.    Driving forward design and development activities within new projects being responsible for all technical attributes from product design through all development phases and onto manufacturing within launch.

3.    Managing and revising internal drawings including revisions, updates, issuing process and new drawing generation.

4.    Delivering projects within time constraints seeking effective solutions to customer issues managing all DFMEA and DFM functions. 

5.    Work closely with R&D to guide new product and process development towards profitable customer solution development.

6.    Create and develop internal innovation process for evaluation and business case creation of new products and materials

7.    Initiate and deliver upon VA/VE initiatives

8.    Develop technical relationships with existing and new customers, supporting site visits as required.

9.    Seeking Business Development opportunities with customers through technical innovation and delivery of services

10.  Collaborating with existing Application Engineers to develop a detailed understanding of all existing customer product ranges.

11.  Supporting APQP process for new product development from enquiry through to PPAP delivery to customers.

12.  Support operations requirement for engineering and technical assistance on product and process development.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

-Ideally educated to degree level in an Engineering Discipline

Quality engineer
JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Location: Changshu, China

1. To liaise with internal & external customers in order to enhance relationships and resolve quality issues in a timely manner by using core tools, 8D, root cause analysis and other problem solving techniques.

2. Provide timely and accurate reports and presentations to external customer.

3. To liaise with the internal team to ensure that corrective actions are implemented effectively.

4. To work alongside the Quality Manager and EHS Manager in order maintain the relevant accreditations.

5. To lead and carry out problem solving exercises to conclusion.

6. To continually review and improve internal systems & procedures to ensure “right *** time” philosophy is adopted.

7. Complete internal and external Audits.

8. To maintain and follow up appropriate KPI’s for Quality, and support to Quality Improvement.

9. Other tasks assigned by line manager.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- 3-5 years’ experience in an Automotive Quality Environment

- With machinery, engineering background or related

- Working experience of Quality Management System – ISO9000 / TS16949 / ISO 14001, internal auditor will be preferred

- Experience in APQP/MSA/SPC/PPAP/FMEA.

- Experience of Minitab is a plus

- Previous experience of direct customer liaison

- Ability to use quality measuring equipment such as CMM, and geometrical measurements

- Extensive experience and knowledge for problem solving tools and techniques, such as 8D, fishbone, 5whys

- Excellent communication (written and spoken) skills, English speaking is a must

- Excellent PC skills with a good working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint & ideally Project
