With the Head Office in Leicester, UK, Nylacast Automotive has advanced production capabilities in China (2 plants) in Changshu and the Poland plant in Katowice, including specialized cast polymer material development, high-precision metal hub production, fully-automated assembly lines, precision machining capabilities, and stringent quality monitoring and on-line inspection systems, which guarantee efficient production and product quality.
Covering over 12,000 square meters, the facility has an annual production capacity for worm gears that reaches into the millions in Changshu, China. Full on-site machining capabilities include:
- Fully Automatic machining cells including quality monitoring and traceability marking
- Auto Transfer of parts to bore finishing to very fine tolerance limits
- Gear-cutting cells capable of high-precision finishing for maximized NVH performance
- Fully Automatic gear de-burring
- Fully Automated in line quality inspection system for certain key characteristics
- Dedicated logistics area with easy access for articulated vehicles.
Launched in August 2024, our brand-new high-performance manufacturing and distribution center is located in Katowice, Poland. This modern facility, spanning over 2,000 square meters, will be dedicated to precision machining operations, focusing on the production of safety-critical EPS worm gears to meet the demands of key European steering markets.
