From June 3 to 5, 2026, the 2026 ATC Shanghai International Automotive Technology and Components Exhibition was held. Nylacast Automotive and NN, Inc. co-exhibited at booth E54015. The event brought together nearly 826 exhibitors and attracted 53,762 professional visitors.

During the exhibition, the two companies delivered a joint technical presentation on design breakthroughs and torque density mprovements for high-torque DP-EPS worm wheel and wheel shaft gear sets. The session highlighted an integrated solution featuring optimized gear geometry, globoidal worms, and high-durability polymer materials, demonstrating how torque enhancement can be achieved without increasing packaging space. The presentation was well received, with an engaged audience raising questions and sparking lively discussion.

The joint booth showcased four high-performance polymer gear materials (CF050, CF160B, EF198, MF979) and NN's precision worm machining technologies, covering applications such as C-EPS, SP-EPS, DP-EPS, and SbW.

The complete worm wheel and wheel shaft assemblies and Sample Cell capabilities drew significant attention from Tier 1 and OEM Engineers. In addition, Customers in the E-bike, off-highway machinery, and robotic joint sectors also showed strong interest in polymer worm wheel and worm shaft technology.
